Patent Pending return with UK tour this month

Plus, the band are set to appear alongside a stellar line-up at Reading & Leeds Festival.

New York’s Patent Pending are making August a pop punk paradise for fans in the UK, with new music, and a tour which closes out with appearances at Reading and Leeds Festival.

With a reputation for supercharged high energy shows, the band have entertained and created memories over their immense 10 years touring the world, with the UK visits always bringing something special. Patent Pending are proud to call their supporters ‘family’, and this year both band and extended family can celebrate 10 years of great songs!

Speaking about coming back to the UK, singer Joe comments: “We are so amped up to get back on tour in the UK! It’s only been 8 months, but for us, that’s about 8 months too long! We’re excited to bring an all new stage show jam packed with songs from all over our catalog with a couple new heavy hitters sprinkled in. People need rock music right now, and we’re counting down the seconds till we can bring it to them!”

And with the tour just around the corner, the family reunion is looking like it’s going to be one hell of a party. One sold out venue and another already upgraded to accommodate more brothers and sisters, you won’t want to miss the pop punk party of the season.

You can catch Patent Pending live at the following shows:

18 August – Birmingham, 02 Academy 2 (Upgraded venue due to demand)

Patent Pending are closing out their visit to the UK with sets at Reading and Leeds Festival on ‘The Lock Up’ stage, under the headliners and long-time friends, Bowling For Soup. The band are playing Reading on Friday 23 and Leeds on Saturday 24 August.

Excited to be playing at Reading & Leeds, Joe shares: “My brothers and I have been watching videos from this Reading and Leeds Fest since we were little kids! I distinctly remember getting my first glimpse of a mosh pit during a broadcast of Rage Against The Machine playing this festival from way back! Needless to say, we’re stoked to bring our NY style chaos to the Reading and Leeds Stage!”.
