Black Water County join forces with Creeper’s Hannah Greenwood on new single

South West folk punks Black Water County are gearing up to release their third album The Only Life Worth Living. Today, Black Water County have a brand new single to showcase their talents featuring a VERY special guest.

Second Guessing sees Black Water County take it down a peg or two from some of their previous material, with a haunting duet between BWC’s own vocalist Shan and none other than Creeper’s Hannah Greenwood! Shan and Hannah’s voices complement each other perfectly, while the instrumentation builds throughout the track. The end result is something very special that fans old and new will want to re-live over and over again.

As for how this wonderful combination came to life, we’ll let Hannah tell the story herself:

“The song with Black Water County came about very organically when Shan reached out to me a few months ago wondering if I would be keen to feature on one of their new upcoming singles. I loved the song the first time I heard it being a sucker for a ballad. It was fun getting involved and embellishing the harmonies and the outro and also being a part of the video. Having worked with Zak Pinchin before I knew the video would be great too!”

As mentioned, Hannah features in the video for Second Guessing alongside Shan and the rest of Black Water County. The other stars of the video are Shan’s grandparents, who do a wonderful job of showcasing their relationship through the decades.

Second Guessing is taken from Black Water County’s upcoming new album The Only Life Worth Living. Full details of the album will be revealed very soon so keep your eyes on the band’s social media accounts for that information. Second Guessing follows on from previous single, the more upbeat Cruel State Of Mind. Cruel State Of Mind is out now in all the usual places, please check it out on Spotify, Apple Music & Youtube.

With their unique, electic crossover style, Black Water County have built a reputation as a brilliant live band through many years of gigs and especially their much anticipated festival appearances. Following a full Summer of festivals Black Water County are once again hitting the road in November across England and Scotland to bring their new music to the masses. There is also a very special show in Bournemouth in December where the new album will be played in full!
