Glass Peaks share new single Hold Me Closer

Kent alt-pop trio Glass Peaks have a banging new single that you need to listen to!

After bursting onto the scene in 2016 as a four-piece, Glass Peaks have earned themselves the title of one of the UK’s biggest breakout bands of 2017. Today they’ve shared their latest single Hold Me Closer which only proves that yet again.

Newly a trio, the band have been busy writing new material and this track provides a little preview of what’s to come – things are getting a little darker than previous singles but they still deliver the hook laden riffs, driving indie beat and bass undertone, all set off with a distinct vocal and harmonies.

With their last single I’m Okay hitting the Indie List on Spotify for four weeks and subsequently the Viral UK 50 Chart, every release is catching the attention of tastemakers and listeners everywhere. The boys have had huge support from BBC Introducing courtesy of Abbie McCarthy (BBC Radio1). Glass Peaks’ tracks have also been picked up and shown a lot of love by the likes of Tom Robinson (BBC Radio 6), John Kennedy (Radio X), George Godfrey (Absolute Radio) and Charlie Ashcroft (Amazing Radio) and even METRO.

If you want to get an idea of the kind of sound you’re getting yourself into, think Foals, White Lies, Depeche Mode. Glass Peaks have been earning their stripes on the live circuit over the last two years with three sold-out London headline shows under their belt and support slots with White Lies, Maximo Park, The Amazons and Jagwar Ma to name a few.

With more live dates being announced regularly and with new releases in the pipeline, Glass Peaks are sure ones to watch in 2018. The official video for Hold Me Closer drops around 1 November.

29 October – The Finsbury – London for Blogtober
25 November – Kazoopa Festival – Leeds
