Yes, free! Coinciding with the release of his new album, The Visitor, Neil Young has a special treat for his fans.
It’s like Christmas come early! On top of releasing his 44th (!) album with The Visitor, which is out 1 December, the American songwriter will also be opening up his archive for free, initially anyway.
He’ll be using Xstream Music high res streaming via OraStream, which seamlessly adapts to bandwidth giving the listener the highest possible quality of sound.
In a recent Facebook post, Young said “(The archive is) a place you can visit and experience every song I have ever released in the highest quality your machine will allow. It’s the way it’s supposed to be. In the beginning, everything is free.”
