Female fronted rock band Weekend Recovery set to release new track

Why Don’t You Love Me will be out this Thursday and you need to listen to it.

Rock-pop four piece Weekend Recovery have recently signed to Headcheck Records (Maid of Ace, Bleach, Turbulent Hearts.) after only forming a year ago. The band have had the support of BBC Kent Introducing and NME Presents Evening as well as headlining at the famous Alley Cat.

On 30 November, the band around front chick Lori will release their next single – Why Don’t You Love Me. The track’s high energy riffs and catchy chorus will have you transported back to late 90’s punk rock with hints of the likes of Bikini Kill. Formed in Maidstone, Kent, the band cites their influences as Jack White, SONS and Oasis.

Why Don’t You Love Me‘s repetitive chorus is sure to stay in your head making the track memorable and recognizable – making it a song you’ll want to hear live.

The band recently released their third single New Tattoo which has already been described as “a phenomenal piece of song writing” and earlier this year toured the UK for the first time in February and March.
