The Libertines are set to headline benefit show in London

British rock icons The Libertines are joined by Patti Smith, Thurston Moore and many more for Hoping For Palestine at The Roundhouse.

Hosted by comedian John Bishop, the charity show will benefit The Hope and Optimism for Palestinians in the Next Generation (HOPING) Foundation, who work with Palestinian refugee children living in camps in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, the West Bank and Gaza.

Headlined by London four-piece The Libertines, Patti Smith, Thurston Moore, Loyle Carner, poet Eric Cantona, and comedian Frankie Boyle are also set to perform at the Roundhouse in London on 4 June.

Co-founder of the HOPING Foundation Bella Freud said in a press release: “With these outstanding rockers and artists, performing for Hoping at the Roundhouse on June 4th – giving their time and their talent – we are able to raise awareness for the Palestinian refugee children we support, and hold in our hearts.”

Tickets for the benefit go on sale today (16 May) at midday here.
