Bruce Springsteen joins The Killers at MSG show

They say never meet your heroes, but I say in the case of Bruce Springsteen that is fundamentally untrue. At last night’s The Killers show at New York’s Madison Square Garden, Brandon Flowers and his band were joined on stage by New Jersey’s finest, Bruce Springsteen.

The boss joined the band for renditions of his classics Born To Run and Badlands, as well as their recent collaboration Dustland. Brandon Flowers introduced Springsteen by explaining that “Everybody gets a little nervous when their boss shows up for work, right? I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but me and my friends have been sweating bullets up here all night, because The Boss is here.”

The duo were also joined by Springsteen’s saxophonist Jake Clemons, nephew of the late and great Clarence Clemons. Watch the surprise performance below:
