It’s the first taste of their forthcoming sophomore album.
Normandie have released a video for their brand new single Ecstasy. The track and video are the first to feature the band’s new drummer Anton Franzon.
Ecstasy marks the next chapter in Normandie’s whirlwind journey, building on their anthemic sound and reaffirming that they are one of the hottest up-and-coming bands to have surfaced in recent years.
After a huge response following the release of their debut album Inguz, Normandie inked a deal with Easy Life Records and released an extended edition of the critically acclaimed record in April 2018.
Inguz, a Viking rune, symbolised the band’s new direction after the departure of their heavier co-vocalist. The soaring melodies are captivating, the choruses are explosive, and overall Normandie deliver a spine-tingling sound that wouldn’t sound out of place in arenas.
The band’s live show has blown away crowds throughout the UK and Europe, with several headline runs, a tour supporting Yellowcard and numerous festival appearances under their belts, including their Download Festival debut in 2017.
