Check out Will Haven’s Pink Floyd cover

Ahead of their European and UK dates, the band reveal a cover of the rock legends’ Brain Damage/ Eclipse.

Sacramento-based mainstays of noise metal Will Haven released their critically acclaimed sixth full-length album, entitled Muerte, in March via minus HEAD Records to stellar reviews. Ahead of their forthcoming EU and UK dates this week, the band have released a cover of the Pink Floyd classic, Brain Damage/Eclipse.

”Pink Floyd is my all time favorite band and when we were writing Murete I convinced the guys to record a Pink Floyd song for fun. We all chose Brain Damage/Eclipse because we hadn’t heard too many bands cover it and liked the dynamics of that song. We had a blast recording it, we definitely will never match the level of musicianship that Pink Floyd was, but we tried to pay respect to the song and keep it somewhat original. It was fun for me to finally sing on a song which I have never done!” says Jeff Irwin.
