Listen to Beans On Toast’s new single

Alexa is taken off his upcoming tenth studio album A Bird In The Hand.

Orchestrating an ingenious one-up on the HAL 9000 of our times, in this latest single our cult folk hero unleashes a lyrically on-point tirade on Amazon, Algorithms and Voice-activated Internet. Funny, thought-provoking and anti-establishment to the core, ALEXA is a razor sharp and rollicking anthem to remind both the machines and the man, who’s really the boss.

Released on 1 November with an animated lyric video made from discarded Amazon cardboard boxes, Beans’ next track is ready to take the internet by storm.

ALEXA is the second single to be taken from the Essex musician’s forthcoming 10th Studio album A Bird in The Hand. Produced by Mumford & Sons’ Ben Lovett at London’s legendary Church Studios, the album is set for release on 1 December.

To commemorate his milestone new release, Beans on Toast is delighted to announce a very special album launch party. Taking place at the Queens Hall in Nuneaton, the venue has been specifically chosen as the most central, accessible and inclusive location for a party in all of England. Entry is free with pre-orders of the album.

In addition, Beans will also be stopping off for a string of intimate in-stor gigs and signings at some of the country’s finest independent record shops throughout the week of A Bird In The Hand’s release.
