The band also just announced their first London headline show for next month.

Breather are an incendiary new UK rock band that will certainly be one to watch in 2019 and beyond. They blend soaring, emotionally driven vocals with intricate guitar melodies and dynamic, beat-heavy rock.

The Blue is the trio’s debut single and it conjures shades of Thrice and Saosin whilst introducing us to Breather’s own impassioned sound. The song comes accompanied by a powerful performance music video directed by esteemed videographer and director Ryan Mackfall (Deftones, Mastodon, The Amity Affliction etc).

Vocalist & guitarist Sam Irvine says “Lyrically the track explores the home truths of a broken relationship and the realisation that you don’t feel the same love towards someone as you once did. The feelings of guilt, sorrow and acceptance merge into one as you push a lover away in an attempt to save them.”

The very first chance to see Breather live will come sooner than you might think, on 11 March at The Old Blue Last in London.
