Glass Peaks unveil video for recent single ‘Misery’

Inspired by Stephen King’s horror of the same title, the video sees the Kent trio team-up with esteemed Grime videographer Danny Lowman to provide a fittingly intense visual element.

Set in claustrophobic confines, the video sees the band let-loose the chaos of their live performance in full-force and with reverberating effect. Long-time fans may even recognise the setting as the very practise room in which Glass Peaks performed their first ever demo video to surface online; a video which has since stacked-up over 39K views online.

Misery is out now as the debut single release of the brand new label CLOSEUP, an innovative collaboration between celebrated LDN live tastemakers CLOSEUP (who coincidentally put on Glass Peaks’ very first show) and the established Modern Sky UK label (The Blinders / Catholic Action).

Punchy and poignant, the Misery video is a reminder of both Glass Peaks’ and CLOSEUP’s humble beginnings, but also as the first page of an exciting new chapter they are opening together.
