Emos of the UK rejoice! Your fearless leaders are back, and they’re coming to play a show for you.
In late 2019, the long-rumoured return of My Chemical Romance was finally made official as the band teased the return for hours on Instagram until they finally announced what they have been up to. The announcement included an intimate show in LA before Christmas which resulted in the venue’s biggest-ever grossing year thanks to Gerard and Co.
Your Emo heroes are now headed back to the UK for what looks to be a one off show at Milton Keynes. Check out the seriously obsessive trailer below:
At the start of 2020, the band cryptically posted on their social media channels a photo alongside a union jack emoji. For weeks fans were trying to figure out its meaning, and conspiracy theories were only fuelled when the band then also posted a short video with various symbols which caused fans to speculate whether the emo outfit would play Glastonbury – note the Theban symbols spelling out ‘JUNE’.
On top of that it is worth noting, amongst all the speculation on whether or not there’ll be a new record, that Danger Days turns 10 this November… All speculating aside, tickets go on sale at 9.30am on Friday 24 January 2020.
