New year, new you – well, whatever your other new year’s resolutions are or aren’t we only have one: Go to ALL the gigs. Because for the last two years live music has been few and far between, and whilst things may be looking a bit scary at the moment, we remain hopeful that most of 2022 will be filled with rooms full of people enjoying the thing they love the most.
And even though we’ve been lucky enough to have that “first gig back”, that feeling of the first singalong, that emotional breakdown after seeing your favorite artists again when you weren’t sure how long it would be – we still crave the community, the feeling of being surrounded by people who love this band as much as you do, the indescribable electricity in the air when the first riff hits the speakers and the drop in your stomach when the lights go out.
