FESTIVAL GUIDE: Slam Dunk

Every Summer, Forever

In just over two weeks, we will all be joined for the biggest group therapy session of the summer. Bring it on!

Celebrating its sweet 16 this summer, the UK’s fastest growing alternative festival (we didn’t research this fact, but let’s face it, you know it’s true) is back for another year with an incredible line-up and we’re here to get you all the info you need to make your Slam Dunk epic.

The Line-up

Incredible headliners with Sum41 and Neck Deep are just the start. There isn’t a single band on this line-up you should miss (which will make things quite difficult when trying to work out your schedule – we never said this would be easy).

The Dickies Stage will bring you the likes of Boston celtic punks Dropkick Murphys, Chuck Ragan and his Hot Water Music, the one and only The Bronx and many more.

Over on the Jagermeister stage, it’s getting heavy with Alexisonfire headlining alongside a long awaited UK return from The Used and fresh from supporting none other than My Chemical Romance, Cassyette will be taking over that stage as well.

Brand new to Slam Dunk is the Rock Sound stage which will host headliners Neck Deep as well as The Story So Far, Knuckle Puck, KennyHoopla, Meet Me @ The Altar and more. We’re not biased but if you want to see some incredible new alternative talent, this is THE stage to be.

Last but by no means least, because it’s one of the best stages at Slammy D – The Key Club Stage. Nova Twins, Magnolia Park, The Flatliners, Hot Mulligan and so many more will be serenading you and you won’t want to miss it.

But what about the clashes?

We hear you! You probably can’t see everything, but if you never try you’ll never know! Walkign distances aren’t that far at Slam Dunk so who’s up for a challenge? Person who sees the most bands at Slam Dunk wins… bragging rights (listen, we’re a small blog, we don’t have money for prizes. But we’ll fangirl you all the way to Slam Dunk 2023).

So take a look at the below, and let us know how many you think you can see.

How on earth do I get to Slam Dunk though?
